Some stuff happened! And also I read some excellent books. List is probably a bit out of order.
9. “Cannery Row,” John Steinbeck
10. “The Doors of Perception,” Aldous Huxley
11. “Mr. Vertigo,” Paul Auster
12. “A Clockwork Orange,” Anthony Burgess
13. “Ishmael,” Daniel Quinn (Must read. Everyone must read this book.)
14. “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance” (13 plus 14 made for a HEAVY couple philosophical weeks here in Darlaland. But this is also a must-read)
15. “Tropic of Caner,” Henry Miller

Gratuitious not-kitten picture, because he's huge now.
15.5. (sorta) “The Good Rain,” Timothy Egan (started it then left it at my parents’ house in Colorado)
16.5. “The Bone People,” Kari Hulme (excellent great super must-read awesome)
17.5. “A Wrinkle in Time,” Madeline L’engle (Because who did not LOVE this book when they were a kid??)
18.5. “The Corrections,” Johnathan Franzen (Lee insists I mention that I wanted to quit this book several times because it was SO DEPRESSING. Yet so true to Americana.)
